Spinach or kale: These leafy green vegetables provide amino acids (protein), calcium, beta – carotene (vitamin A), vitamin K, iron, manganese, magnesium, zinc, folic acid and selenium.

Cucumber: Highly moisturizing, cucumbers are full of B vitamins, vitamin C, silica, and electrolytes that help to have a clearer and glowing skin.

Celery : very alkaline, full of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Good source of B1, B2, B6, C and vitamins, folic acid, iron and amino acids.

Pera : Contains vitamins C, E, B, and K, copper, manganese, potassium, iron, magnesium, selenium, calcium, zinc, and folic acid.

Banana : contains vitamin B6 and magnesium that help you sleep better. Bananas also have fiber, vitamin C, potassium and vitamin A.

Chia seeds : These seeds help to lose weight and are an excellent source of protein, calcium, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spinach leaves or kale, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped cucumber
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • 1 small (or large ½) pear, cored and chopped
  • 1 chopped banana
  • 1 cup water or coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 cm root ginger, peeled and sliced
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper, optional
  • A pinch of cinnamon, optional
  • A pinch of turmeric, optional

Preparation:

Place ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Sweeten with stevia liquid to taste. Drink this smoothie detox once a day for a week to see amazing results.
